Downtown Louisville, CO, reminded of 9/11 in a special way

Downtown Louisville, CO reminded of 9/11 in a special way

Louisville's own fire station located on Main Street received a piece of history from the 9/11 tragedy ~ a piece of rusted steel ~ a remnant of the World Trade Center.  It's a reminder of all the lives lost, 10 years ago, on 9/11 and the sacrifice made by so many of New York's finest fire fighters who gave all to serve others.

The rusted segment of the world trade center will be on permanent display at the Fire Station to honor the 343 fire fighters who lost their lives on 9/11.

Hi Vickie, glad to see this beautiful memorial...we can never forget.  What a tragedy and it has been 10 years...it seems like yesterday!
